Started with B. Braun's Aesculap division in year 1992 as a Quality Engineer. Became the Head of Aesculap QA when the Quality Assurance department came into being. Presently Quality Manager for Aesculap and Sutures Production, B. Braun Medical Industries Sdn. Bhd.

"This year will be my 14th year in B. Braun Medical Industries and B. Braun is the first company I joined after graduation. I started as an Engineer supervising the certification of blade production for Aesculap here in the Penang plant. This certification was planned to be carried out by the Department of Health and Social Security. About a year later, a new section was set up within BMI called the Quality Assurance Department and subsequently I was appointed the Head of Aesculap QA in 1995. When B. Braun consolidated the Quality Management departments into a central body, I felt it was a good and logical move because quality is a company-wide responsibility. I was then appointed as Quality Manager for Aesculap and Sutures production.

What helped me in my years here were the many training that were given to us. The training provided were both internal within B. Braun and external, from other training providers. We were given special attention in the field of Quality Management; yet many other relevant types of training were also provided like leadership, communication, computers and management.

Great support and assurance from local colleagues, Germany colleagues and the Aesculap Management Board are among the key factors to my progress and long service in this great company.

My advice for those considering a career in B. Braun? ´Good Investment will always result in good returns. If you don´t receive it today, you will receive it tomorrow´ "
