medperts goes international

medperts - the online portal for medical experts- connects physicians from all over the world.

In Germany, more than 5.000 anesthesiologists, intensive care specialists, surgeons, orthopedists and nephrologists already use the knowledge and information platform.

The Germany-based physician portal medperts extends its reach: on the newly launched international website medperts.com medical specialists worldwide can access latest study results, updated medical guidelines and congress reports as well as an research tool and a calendar of events. Users in Germany can also consult country-specific content in German.

medperts bundles medical expertise in the fields of anesthesiology, intensive care, surgery, nephrology, orthopedic surgery and traumatology as well as health policy and e-health. The scientific articles which are edited by experienced doctors and renowned medical journalists are written for licensed physicians. They can adapt their personal profile to their individual needs online and share their expertise with colleagues. Due to an intuitive interface the website is easy to navigate.

One important goal of medperts is to foster the dialogue among experts und to guarantee a better patient care. medperts is an initiative of B. Braun and is based on the companies philosophy “Sharing Expertise”. Through exchanging knowledge the supplier of hospital, surgery, private practice and extracorporeal blood treatment products helps to improve treatments and working procedures in hospitals and medical practices and thus increases the safety of patients, doctors and nursing staff.

Since 2013 Dräger supports the development of the platform as a collaborating partner. “Technology for Life” is the companies guiding principle. Dräger produces among others things ventilation equipment for intensive care, emergency and mobile ventilation units, warming therapy equipment for infants, IT solutions and gas management systems.
