B. Braun Inks 11th Collective Agreement with Workers’ Union, Reinforcing Commitment to Employee Well-Being

Bayan Lepas, Penang – B. Braun Medical Industries Sdn. Bhd. (BMI) has reaffirmed its commitment to employee welfare and workplace harmony with the signing of the 11th Collective Agreement (2025-2028) with the BMI Workers’ Union. This agreement reflects the company’s ongoing efforts to enhance employee benefits while ensuring a fair and sustainable work environment.

The signing ceremony was attended by B. Braun Asia Pacific Board, BMI Union Exco members and representatives from the Industrial Relations Department of Penang (IRD). Pn Saadiah Saad, Director of IRD Penang, witnessed the signing by the two parties.

Speaking at the event, Lam Chee Hong, President, Asia Pacific, B. Braun, emphasised the significance of this milestone in fostering workplace trust, accountability, and diversity, which are the core values of the company.

The 11th Collective Agreement introduces enhancements to employee benefits, including improved financial assistance, expanded medical coverage, increased shift allowances, and updated transport subsidies. It also aligns company policies with the latest employment regulations, incorporating adjustments to leave entitlements and workplace policies. These improvements reflect B. Braun’s commitment to employee well-being, fostering a fair, inclusive, and sustainable work environment.
