The award, presented by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim at the 44th World Customs day underscores B. Braun’s strong commitment to customs compliance and secure trade facilitation.
Bayan Lepas, Penang – B. Braun Medical Industries Sdn. Bhd. (BMI), a leading medical technology company, has been awarded the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) recognition at the 44th World Customs Day 2026, organised by the Royal Malaysian Customs Department. The event was held to honour organisations that demonstrate excellence in customs compliance and secure trade facilitation.
The award was presented by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, together with the Director General of Customs Malaysia, Datuk Wira Anis Rizana binti Mohd Zainudin, at a ceremony held on 26 January 2026.
BMI was distinguished as one of only three AEO-certified companies to receive the award this year. This honour highlights BMI’s steadfast commitment to upholding the highest standards of customs compliance, supply chain security, and operational integrity across its supply chain.
Commenting on the achievement, Mr. Lam Chee Hong, President, Asia Pacific, B. Braun said:

Accepting the award on behalf of BMI were Mr. Loh Son Hing, General Manager, APAC Logistics and Ms. Zuliana Zakaria, Logistics Manager, BMI.
